    Description

    Cool vintage Kona "Cinder Cone" mountain bike frame.  Historically significant, around 1988, one of the first Kona mountain bikes, paint jobs by Paul Brodie, designed by Joe Murray.  Tange double butted chromoly steel frame.  Original paint and decals.  Paint is white, with a splattering of red and yellow.  Size is 16.5" (center of crank to center of top tube), 17" (center of crank to top of top tube), 17.5" (center of crank to top of seat tube).........Top tube measures 21.5" from center of the head tube to center of the seat tube.......Rear dropout spacing is 130. Takes 26" wheels.  1" head tube.  Takes a rear U-Brake.  Original splatter paint.   It has no dents, no crashes, has some normal wear, some paint chips and scratches.
