Pasta Os
The Os are made from durum and spring wheat which is ideal for pasta as its a hard wheat and holds its shape. The flour is enriched with essential nutrients: niacin, ferrous sulfate (iron), thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2) and folic acid (one of the B vitamins).
Tomato Puree
Our tomatoes are mainly grown in California by family farmers, some who have grown for us for generations. The ripe tomatoes are harvested and immediately transported to our plants to be washed, steam-peeled and pureed.
Enzyme Modified Cheese
We use cheese which has been specially processed using enzyes to increase the flavor. Most of the enzyme modified cheese we use is made in Wisconsin. It also contains rennet, an enzyme which is essential to making the cheese hard. The rennet we use is derived from animals.
Protein
Our meatballs are made using pork and beef. Our sliced franks are a mix of pork, beef, chicken and natural flavors. The chicken is mechanically separated, which means machines are used to separate meat from the bone.
