Rare to find these out on the road, and when you see one they are beautiful.
Always a conversation piece.
A unique and fantastic example of bicycle form, fit, function and art.
My only problem with this bike is that the bike has always been better than I am !!
It dares you to go deeper into the corners, climb harder out of the saddle and get more aero going down the descents or out on the flats.
To give you an idea on the size, I am 6 foot 1 inch, with a 33” Inseam and it fits me perfect.
INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT DUE TO THE CERVELO GEOMETRY AND SIZING OF THIS FRAME IT FIT ME MORE LIKE A NORMAL 58CM LARGE SIZE DIAMOND FRAME RACE BIKE WHICH IS WHAT I WOULD NORMALLY RIDE.
This frame is still a baseline for light stiff and fast road bike designs.
Not outdated by any means.
Cervelo built these to win the Tour De France and at the Olympics.
Launched in 2008, the original S3 is perhaps the most advanced aero road bike ever, proving its speed potential by being ridden to a 2010 world championship victory by Norwegian Thor Hushovd.
Some of the best Aerodynamics to be found in a non-time trial specific bike.
This bike can and will do it all-
Climbing, Sprinting, Long Distance, Time Trialing
I purchased Frame Set in December 2009 (,250), brand new, & built-up this bike as my high performance weekend special.
Never Crashed, Raced, or Ridden in the Rain.
I estimate total mileage to be about 2,500.
There is no junk here, this is a high quality, precision bicycle fame.
This Frame Set has been unused in the garage since March-2016 when I stopped riding due to health problems.
This bike must now find a new home.
This cycle really is in beautiful condition, as you can tell by the photos.
This is a stiff, light, race geometry frame that can really climb!!

Please note that there are 3 areas to look at for minor imperceptible scratches, difficult to see in the photos-
1)
Near the bottom bracket shell under the derailleur mount where I dropped the chain one day. Touched up but not a perfect match. Not visible when assembled. I installed a chain catcher after that!.
2)
Where the rear tire passes under the upper seat stay triangle (this is from the normal twigs and small stones that get passed through here in normal use). You do not see it when tire is in place.
3)
Where the front tire passes under the fork crown. (this is from the normal twigs and small stones that get passed through here in normal use). You do not see it when tire is in place.
