    Description

    "Rare"-"One of a Kind"- Chinese Qing Dy Foo Dogs Shiwan Stoneware TempleBeast Nanfeng Kiln TurquiseGlaze. These Foo Dogs where made during the Qing Dynasty c1800's. They are hand made with Dense Brown Stoneware known as Shiwan. They are hand painted and coated with a Turquoise Glaze and fired at the Nanfeng Kilns in China. The Kiln has been closed for over 100 years and is now a Museum. These are Rare one of a Kind Items that are very decorative and a must in that Chinese Oriental Collection. The one Foo Dog has a chipped right ear and looks to be missing a couple teeth. The other Foo Dog the end of it's tail is chipped but the rest of the Foo Dogs are in EXCELLENT CONDITION!! These foo Dogs can be used as Book Ends or Garnitures for that special vase. These items do not come along often but when they do they can run into the 00's. MEASURE: 7 1/2" x 6 3/4" x 4".
