Description

Jadeite Jade Chinese exquisite lavender carving of a Kwan Yin, the goddess of mercy and protector of children. She is postured as semi seated and flanked by two children od “Buddha”. She holds a lily pod and a legendary “Sea Pearl” and is encompassed by Chinese symbolism, bats, frogs, clouds and ceremonial vessels. Color is of lavender and contrasting green hues.
