  • Condition: In new-old-stock condition; never built up. Decals showing a little bit of wear but no fading. There are three noticeable flaws in the paint: One mark on the top tube, a yellowed ring that goes around it with a few tiny chips on the underside from a hook or piece of tape that was left on it for many years. On the NDS of the bottom bracket shell, there is a chip in the paint. On the back side of the seat tube on the NDS, a couple inches below the seat cluster, there is one scratch. Other than that, there a few tiny chips around the DS chain stay.

    Description

    This is an incredibly rare, actual new-old-stock (i.e. never built) 3Rensho track frame and matching chrome fork. Serial numbers on the frame match the fork. It was discovered in the basement of an old bike shop when they were moving locations. Given the age and rarity of this brand, it's hard to imagine another will ever come to market in this condition. It uses beautiful long-point, hand thinned lugs, Shimano UFP-10 track ends and fork ends, and a gorgeous rounded bottom bracket. Build quality is absolutely top notch. It appears to have been a wall hanger for its entire life, with the decals showing a little bit of wear as well, but no fading.
    Please check all the photos in the gallery, I took a lot of them so that I could capture everything. Looking at the bottom bracket and tubes, head tube, and the dropouts, you can tell that components have never been fitted to it. Super clean throughout. Note that I do not see the typical "NJS" stamp on the bottom bracket, but since the frame has been in the USA since the 1980s, I assume it was made specifically for the US market, hence no need for the stamp.
