    Description

Up for sale is a very unique gravel frameset package.  This is a 2018 Open U.P. frameset with paint matched Lauf Grit SL.  The fork was painted by Black Magic Paint out of Portland, OR.  Also includes original Open U-turn fork if you prefer to run rigid up front.
Zipp stem in photos NOT included.  Does include matching green Niner RDO 110mm stem as well as Niner RDO seatpost.  Also includes super pricey Hambini Bottom Bracket.  I recently pressed in new SKF bearings on the Hambini.  It comes with Delrin Top Hat spacers for both SRAM Dub and Shimano 24mm spindle.
Includes all small parts to run whatever drivetrain combo you want.  Currently setup for 1x SRAM AXS with front derailleur mounted chain guide.  Also includes Open blue touch up paint.
In terms of condition, this frame has been used for three riding seasons, and the Lauf has been used for 1.5 seasons.  Lauf was painted during the winter of 2020.  Key parts of the frame including the top tube bag area, downtube, seattube, seatstay bridge, outside of chainstays were coated with 3M PPF Pro when the frame was new.  I have also been good about touching up any paint chips.  Overall, I'd say it is an 8.5/10.  It looks way better than it should given its service life, but you can tell it has been ridden and raced on gravel.
The main flaw with the frame is that the top of the seattube is deformed from the seatpost collar.  Seatpost collar has never been tightened beyond 5nm, it has just steadily pushed into the carbon there.  I have done my best to document this in photos.  I have ridden the frame like this for over two years now without any issue.  The seatpost has never slipped.  It is on the front of the seattube, so relatively low stress area, especially compared to the back of the seattube.  I feel confident it will go like this until the frame comes to the end of its usable service life.  BUT, just be aware of it, so you don't overtighten the seatpost collar, and that it could eventually crack or fail, though again I feel this is extremely unlikely.
I feel I am pricing the set appropriately, especially given the paint matched Lauf and the inclusion of the Hambini BB.  The lauf and the Hambini are worth over 1k by themselves.  If you feel it is worth less, make me an offer.  Remember that shipping is free.
If you would like me to press the Hambini BB out prior to shipping, just let me know.  I do have the Hambini removal tool, but this is not included with the frameset.
