Vintage brass copper? sitting buddha buddah on wood stand - superb detail 6 1/4"

You are bidding on a rare and unique vintage metal sitting buddha on a nicely carved fitted wood stand. This buddha is very well detailed and has a lovely patina. It looks like copper but I am unsure as to what metal it is. Could be copper, brass or bronze. It is very heavy for its size - almost 2 1/2 pounds.   I do not see any damage or repairs.
Condition is as seen in photos, so please study carefully as they are an integral part of the description.
